بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 143–144
2 versesAl-An'am 144
وَمِنَ الْاِبِلِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ اثْنَيْنِۜ قُلْ آٰلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ اَمِ الْاُنْثَيَيْنِ اَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ اَرْحَامُ الْاُنْثَيَيْنِۜ اَمْ كُنْتُمْ شُهَدَٓاءَ اِذْ وَصّٰيكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِهٰذَاۚ فَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا لِيُضِلَّ النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِم۪ينَ۟ ١٤٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
144Vemine-lʾibili-ŝneyni vemine-lbeḳari-ŝneyn. ḳul âẕẕekerayni ḥarrame emi-lʾünŝeyeyni emme-ştemelet ʿaleyhi erḥâmü-lʾünŝeyeyn. em küntüm şühedâe iẕ veṣṣâkümü-llâhü bihâẕâ. femen ażlemü mimmeni-fterâ ʿale-llâhi keẕibel liyüḍille-nnâse bigayri ʿilm. inne-llâhe lâ yehdi-lḳavme-żżâlimîn.
English Translation
144And two of camels and two of cattle. Say: "Has Allah forbidden the two males of these animals or the two females, or does it include what is in the wombs of the females? Or were you witnesses when Allah forbade all this? Who does greater wrong than one who, without any divine knowledge, invents lies against Allah merely to lead people astray from the right path? Allah surely does not bring these wrongdoers who slander Allah to their goals."
