English Translation

71Say: "After Allah has shown us the right path, (1) are we to implore, besides Allah, those who can neither benefit nor harm us (2)? Are we to be like someone who, wandering bewildered on the earth, abandons his companions who call him to the right path, saying 'Come to us,' (3) and, taken in by Satan's enticements, tumbles over a precipice?" (4). Say: "The only right path is the path Allah shows, and we have been commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds." (5)
