بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 25–30
6 versesAl-An'am 25
وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَسْتَمِعُ اِلَيْكَۚ وَجَعَلْنَا عَلٰى قُلُوبِهِمْ اَكِنَّةً اَنْ يَفْقَهُوهُ وَف۪ٓي اٰذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًاۜ وَاِنْ يَرَوْا كُلَّ اٰيَةٍ لَا يُؤْمِنُوا بِهَاۜ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا جَٓاؤُ۫كَ يُجَادِلُونَكَ يَقُولُ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُٓوا اِنْ هٰذَٓا اِلَّٓا اَسَاط۪يرُ الْاَوَّل۪ينَ ٢٥
Mushaf
Transliteration
25Veminhüm mey yestemiʿu ileyk. veceʿalnâ ʿalâ ḳulûbihim ekinneten ey yefḳahûhü vefî âẕânihim vaḳrâ. veiy yerav külle âyetil lâ yüʾminû bihâ. ḥattâ iẕâ câûke yücâdilûneke yeḳûlü-lleẕîne keferû in hâẕâ illâ esâṭîru-lʾevvelîn.
English Translation
25And among them are some who seem to listen to you. Even if they saw every kind of sign, they would not believe in Our verses, because they have closed their hearts to knowledge and do not want to hear with their ears. And to argue with you, they say: "This is nothing but the legends of the ancients."
