Ibrahim 22

English Translation

22And when the judgment has become final and all is over, Satan will say: "All that Allah promised you was true, whereas I made you certain promises but did not keep them. In fact, I had no power of compulsion over you at all. I merely invited you, and you responded to my call. So do not blame me; blame yourselves. Now I cannot save you, nor can you save me. Indeed, I never accepted your associating me as a partner with Allah before." It is a fact that a painful punishment awaits the wrongdoers who follow Satan's path.
