بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 2–3
2 versesIbrahim 3
اَلَّذ۪ينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الْاٰخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًاۜ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ ف۪ي ضَلَالٍ بَع۪يدٍ ٣
Mushaf
Transliteration
3Elleẕîne yesteḥibbûne-lḥayâte-ddünyâ ʿale-lʾâḫirati veyeṣuddûne ʿan sebîli-llâhi veyebgûnehâ ʿivecâ. ülâike fî ḍalâlim beʿîd.
English Translation
3They are the ones who prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter,(1) turn people away from Allah's true religion, and try to make His path look crooked.(2) They are in deep misguidance.(3)
