بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 60
1 verseAl-Baqarah 60
وَاِذِ اسْتَسْقٰى مُوسٰى لِقَوْمِه۪ فَقُلْنَا اضْرِبْ بِعَصَاكَ الْحَجَرَۜ فَانْفَجَرَتْ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًاۜ قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ اُنَاسٍ مَشْرَبَهُمْۜ كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا مِنْ رِزْقِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا فِي الْاَرْضِ مُفْسِد۪ينَ ٦٠
Mushaf
Transliteration
60Veiẕi-stesḳâ mûsâ liḳavmihî feḳulne-ḍrib biʿaṣâke-lḥacer. fenfecerat minhü-ŝnetâ ʿaşrate ʿaynâ. ḳad ʿalime küllü ünâsim meşrabehüm. külû veşrabû mir rizḳi-llâhi velâ taʿŝev fi-lʾarḍi müfsidîn.
English Translation
60When Moses sought water for his people, We said, "Strike this rock with your staff." Twelve springs gushed forth from it, and each group knew its drinking place. Eat and drink of Allah's provision, but do not run riot on earth, spreading corruption!
