بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 125–126
2 versesAl-Baqarah 126
وَاِذْ قَالَ اِبْرٰه۪يمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هٰذَا بَلَدًا اٰمِنًا وَارْزُقْ اَهْلَهُ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ مَنْ اٰمَنَ مِنْهُمْ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِۜ قَالَ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَاُمَتِّعُهُ قَل۪يلًا ثُمَّ اَضْطَرُّهُٓ اِلٰى عَذَابِ النَّارِۜ وَبِئْسَ الْمَص۪يرُ ١٢٦
Mushaf
Transliteration
126Veiẕ ḳâle ibrâhîmü rabbi-cʿal hâẕâ beleden âminev verzuḳ ehlehû mine-ŝŝemerâti men âmene minhüm billâhi velyevmi-lʾâḫir. ḳâle vemen kefera feümettiʿuhû ḳalîlen ŝümme aḍṭarruhû ilâ ʿaẕâbi-nnâr. vebiʾse-lmeṣîr.
English Translation
126Recall when Abraham said, "My Lord! Make this a secure city, and provide its people who believe in Allah and the Last Day with all kinds of produce." Allah said, "I will provide even for the one who does not believe, for a little while; then I will cast him into the punishment of Hell—what an evil end!"
