بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَقَفَّيْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِه۪ بِالرُّسُلِ وَاٰتَيْنَا ع۪يسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَاَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِۜ اَفَكُلَّمَا جَٓاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ بِمَا لَا تَهْوٰٓى اَنْفُسُكُمُ اسْتَكْبَرْتُمْۚ فَفَر۪يقًا كَذَّبْتُمْ وَفَر۪يقًا تَقْتُلُونَ ٨٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
87Veleḳad âteynâ mûse-lkitâbe veḳaffeynâ mim baʿdihî birrusüli veâteynâ ʿîse-bne meryeme-lbeyyinâti veeyyednâhü birûḥi-lḳudüs. efeküllemâ câeküm rasûlüm bimâ lâ tehvâ enfüsükümü-stekbertüm. feferîḳan keẕẕebtüm veferîḳan taḳtülûn.
English Translation
87We certainly gave Moses the Book, and after him We sent messengers one after another. We gave Jesus, son of Mary, proofs and supported him with the holy spirit. Whenever a messenger came to you with something you did not like, you grew arrogant, denying some of them and killing others.
