بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 230
1 verseAl-Baqarah 230
فَاِنْ طَلَّقَهَا فَلَا تَحِلُّ لَهُ مِنْ بَعْدُ حَتّٰى تَنْكِحَ زَوْجًا غَيْرَهُۜ فَاِنْ طَلَّقَهَا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَٓا اَنْ يَتَرَاجَعَٓا اِنْ ظَنَّٓا اَنْ يُق۪يمَا حُدُودَ اللّٰهِۜ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّٰهِ يُبَيِّنُهَا لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ ٢٣٠
Mushaf
Transliteration
230Fein ṭalleḳahâ felâ teḥillü lehû mim baʿdü ḥattâ tenkiḥa zevcen gayrah. fein ṭalleḳahâ felâ cünâḥa ʿaleyhimâ ey yeterâceʿâ in żannâ ey yüḳîmâ ḥudûde-llâh. vetilke ḥudûdü-llâhi yübeyyinühâ liḳavmiy yaʿlemûn.
English Translation
230If the man divorces the woman a third time, she is no longer lawful for him unless she marries someone else. If the second husband also divorces her, there is no sin for them in returning to one another, if they believe they will uphold Allah's laws. These are the limits set by Allah, which He makes clear for a people who know.
