بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 260
1 verseAl-Baqarah 260
وَاِذْ قَالَ اِبْرٰه۪يمُ رَبِّ اَرِن۪ي كَيْفَ تُحْيِ الْمَوْتٰىۜ قَالَ اَوَلَمْ تُؤْمِنْۜ قَالَ بَلٰى وَلٰكِنْ لِيَطْمَئِنَّ قَلْب۪يۜ قَالَ فَخُذْ اَرْبَعَةً مِنَ الطَّيْرِ فَصُرْهُنَّ اِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ اجْعَلْ عَلٰى كُلِّ جَبَلٍ مِنْهُنَّ جُزْءًا ثُمَّ ادْعُهُنَّ يَاْت۪ينَكَ سَعْيًاۜ وَاعْلَمْ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ عَز۪يزٌ حَك۪يمٌ۟ ٢٦٠
Mushaf
Transliteration
260Veiẕ ḳâle ibrâhîmü rabbi erinî keyfe tuḥyi-lmevtâ. ḳâle evelem tüʾmin. ḳâle belâ velâkil liyaṭmeinne ḳalbî. ḳâle feḫuẕ erbeʿatem mine-ṭṭayri feṣurhünne ileyke ŝümme-cʿal ʿalâ külli cebelim minhünne cüzʾen ŝümme-dʿuhünne yeʾtîneke saʿyâ. vaʿlem enne-llâhe ʿazîzün ḥakîm.
English Translation
260Abraham said, "My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead." When Allah said, "Do you not believe?" he said, "Yes, I do believe, but so that my heart may be at rest!" "Then take four birds and accustom them to yourself; then release each of them on a mountain. Then call them, and they will come flying to you. Know that Allah is exalted and mighty, and decides rightly in every judgment."
