بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 197

اَلْحَجُّ اَشْهُرٌ مَعْلُومَاتٌۚ فَمَنْ فَرَضَ ف۪يهِنَّ الْحَجَّ فَلَا رَفَثَ وَلَا فُسُوقَ وَلَا جِدَالَ فِي الْحَجِّۜ وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ يَعْلَمْهُ اللّٰهُۜ وَتَزَوَّدُوا فَاِنَّ خَيْرَ الزَّادِ التَّقْوٰىۘ وَاتَّقُونِ يَٓا اُو۬لِي الْاَلْبَابِ ١٩٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
197Elḥaccü eşhürum maʿlûmâh. femen feraḍa fîhinne-lḥacce felâ rafeŝe velâ füsûḳa velâ cidâle fi-lḥacc. vemâ tefʿalû min ḫayriy yaʿlemhü-llâh. vetezevvedû feinne ḫayra-zzâdi-ttaḳvâ. vetteḳûni yâ ûli-lʾelbâb.
English Translation
197The hajj is in the well-known months. Whoever firmly resolves to perform the hajj in these months should know that during the hajj there is no marital intimacy, no sinning, and no quarreling. Whatever good you do, Allah knows it. Take provisions; surely the best provision is guarding oneself against defying Allah. Guard yourselves against defying Me, O you of deep understanding!
