بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 193–194

اَلشَّهْرُ الْحَرَامُ بِالشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْحُرُمَاتُ قِصَاصٌۜ فَمَنِ اعْتَدٰى عَلَيْكُمْ فَاعْتَدُوا عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا اعْتَدٰى عَلَيْكُمْۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاعْلَمُٓوا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّق۪ينَ ١٩٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
194Eşşehru-lḥarâmü bişşehri-lḥarâmi velḥurumâtü ḳiṣâṣ. femeni-ʿtedâ ʿaleyküm faʿtedû ʿaleyhi bimiŝli me-ʿtedâ ʿaleyküm. vetteḳu-llâhe vaʿlemû enne-llâhe meʿa-lmütteḳîn.
English Translation
194An attack in a sacred month is answered in a sacred month, and in matters of sanctity, equivalence is the rule. So whoever attacks you, respond to him in the same manner. Guard yourselves against defying Allah, and know well that Allah is with those who guard themselves against disobeying His commands.
