بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 92–93

وَاِذْ اَخَذْنَا م۪يثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّورَۜ خُذُوا مَٓا اٰتَيْنَاكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَاسْمَعُواۜ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاُشْرِبُوا ف۪ي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْعِجْلَ بِكُفْرِهِمْۜ قُلْ بِئْسَمَا يَاْمُرُكُمْ بِه۪ٓ ا۪يمَانُكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِن۪ينَ ٩٣
Mushaf
Transliteration
93Veiẕ eḫaẕnâ mîŝâḳaküm verafaʿnâ fevḳakümu-ṭṭûr. ḫuẕû mâ âteynâküm biḳuvvetiv vesmeʿû. ḳâlû semiʿnâ veʿaṣaynâ veüşribû fî ḳulûbihimü-lʿicle biküfrihim. ḳul biʾsemâ yeʾmüruküm bihî îmânüküm in küntüm müʾminîn.
English Translation
93And once, having invited your leader to Mount Tur, We took a covenant/pledge from you and said, "Hold fast to what We have given you and listen to the revelation." You said, "We hear, but we rebel and do not believe." And because of this denial of yours, love of the calf/of worldly things took root in your hearts. Say, "How evil is what your belief, set against the truth, commands you!"
