اَيَّامًا مَعْدُودَاتٍۜ فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَر۪يضًا اَوْ عَلٰى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ اَيَّامٍ اُخَرَۜ وَعَلَى الَّذ۪ينَ يُط۪يقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْك۪ينٍۜ فَمَنْ تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَهُۜ وَاَنْ تَصُومُوا خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ١٨٤

Transliteration
184Eyyâmem maʿdûdât. femen kâne minküm merîḍan ev ʿalâ seferin feʿiddetüm min eyyâmin üḫar. veʿale-lleẕîne yüṭîḳûnehû fidyetün ṭaʿâmü miskîn. femen teṭavveʿa ḫayran fehüve ḫayrul leh. veen teṣûmû ḫayrul leküm in küntüm taʿlemûn.
English Translation
184For a specified number of days... Whoever among you is ill or on a journey should fast the same number of other days in place of the days missed. Those who are able to do it give, as compensation, enough to feed a poor person. Whoever does extra good, that good is for himself. In this situation, fasting is better for you, if only you knew.
