بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 272
1 verseAl-Baqarah 272
لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ هُدٰيهُمْ وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَهْد۪ي مَنْ يَشَٓاءُۜ وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلِاَنْفُسِكُمْۜ وَمَا تُنْفِقُونَ اِلَّا ابْتِغَٓاءَ وَجْهِ اللّٰهِۜ وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ يُوَفَّ اِلَيْكُمْ وَاَنْتُمْ لَا تُظْلَمُونَ ٢٧٢
Mushaf
Transliteration
272Leyse ʿaleyke hüdâhüm velâkinne-llâhe yehdî mey yeşâʾ. vemâ tünfiḳû min ḫayrin felienfüsiküm. vemâ tünfiḳûne ille-btigâe vechi-llâh. vemâ tünfiḳû min ḫayriy yüveffe ileyküm veentüm lâ tużlemûn.
English Translation
272It is not your duty to bring them to the right path; rather, Allah guides to His right path whoever wishes. Whatever good you give is for yourselves. You give only to earn Allah's good pleasure. Whatever good you give will be repaid to you in full, and you will not be wronged in the least.
