بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 280–281
2 versesAl-Baqarah 280
وَاِنْ كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍ فَنَظِرَةٌ اِلٰى مَيْسَرَةٍۜ وَاَنْ تَصَدَّقُوا خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ٢٨٠
Mushaf
Transliteration
280Vein kâne ẕû ʿusratin feneżiratün ilâ meyserah. veen teṣaddeḳû ḫayrul leküm in küntüm taʿlemûn.
English Translation
280If (the debtor) is in hardship, grant him time until his circumstances ease. And forgiving it as charity is better for you, if only you knew.
