بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 232
1 verseAl-Baqarah 232
وَاِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَٓاءَ فَبَلَغْنَ اَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ اَنْ يَنْكِحْنَ اَزْوَاجَهُنَّ اِذَا تَرَاضَوْا بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِۜ ذٰلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِه۪ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِۜ ذٰلِكُمْ اَزْكٰى لَكُمْ وَاَطْهَرُۜ وَاللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ وَاَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ٢٣٢
Mushaf
Transliteration
232Veiẕâ ṭallaḳtümü-nnisâe febelagne ecelehünne felâ taʿḍulûhünne ey yenkiḥne ezvâcehünne iẕâ terâḍav beynehüm bilmaʿrûf. ẕâlike yûʿażu bihî men kâne minküm yüʾminü billâhi velyevmi-lʾâḫir. ẕâliküm ezkâ leküm veaṭher. vellâhü yaʿlemü veentüm lâ taʿlemûn.
English Translation
232When you divorce women and they have completed their waiting period, do not prevent them from marrying their husbands if they have come to a proper agreement between themselves. With this, those of you who believe in Allah and the Last Day are admonished. This is purer and cleaner for you. Allah knows, but you do not know.
