يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا مَا لَكُمْ اِذَا ق۪يلَ لَكُمُ انْفِرُوا ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ اثَّاقَلْتُمْ اِلَى الْاَرْضِۜ اَرَض۪يتُمْ بِالْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا مِنَ الْاٰخِرَةِۚ فَمَا مَتَاعُ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا فِي الْاٰخِرَةِ اِلَّا قَل۪يلٌ ٣٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
38Yâ eyyühe-lleẕîne âmenû mâ leküm iẕâ ḳîle lekümü-nfirû fî sebîli-llâhi-ŝŝâḳaltüm ile-lʾarḍ. eraḍîtüm bilḥayâti-ddünyâ mine-lʾâḫirah. femâ metâʿu-lḥayâti-ddünyâ fi-lʾâḫirati illâ ḳalîl.
English Translation
38O you who believe! What is the matter with you that, when you are told, "Set out to fight in Allah's way!", you stay rooted to the ground as if nailed down? Have you, then, abandoned the Hereafter and contented yourselves with the fleeting life of this world? Yet the pleasures of this world's life are as nothing beside the blessings of the Hereafter.
