بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 7–9
3 versesAs-Saff 8
يُر۪يدُونَ لِيُطْفِؤُ۫ا نُورَ اللّٰهِ بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللّٰهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِه۪ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ ٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
8Yürîdûne liyuṭfiû nûra-llâhi biefvâhihim vellâhü mütimmü nûrihî velev kerihe-lkâfirûn.
English Translation
8They want to put out Allah's light/the religion of tawhid (Divine Oneness) with the lies they have invented. Yet Allah will perfect His light/the religion of tawhid, however much these disbelievers may dislike it.
