وَاِذَٓا اُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ اَنْ اٰمِنُوا بِاللّٰهِ وَجَاهِدُوا مَعَ رَسُولِهِ اسْتَاْذَنَكَ اُو۬لُوا الطَّوْلِ مِنْهُمْ وَقَالُوا ذَرْنَا نَكُنْ مَعَ الْقَاعِد۪ينَ ٨٦
Mushaf
Transliteration
86Veiẕâ ünzilet sûratün en âminû billâhi vecâhidû meʿa rasûlihi-steʾẕeneke ülu-ṭṭavli minhüm veḳâlû ẕernâ neküm meʿa-lḳâʿidîn.
English Translation
86When a surah is sent down saying, "Believe in Allah and strive (jihad) together with His Messenger," even the men of means among them ask your leave, saying: "Let us be with those who stay at home!"
