اَفَمَنْ اَسَّسَ بُنْيَانَهُ عَلٰى تَقْوٰى مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَرِضْوَانٍ خَيْرٌ اَمْ مَنْ اَسَّسَ بُنْيَانَهُ عَلٰى شَفَا جُرُفٍ هَارٍ فَانْهَارَ بِه۪ ف۪ي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَۜ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِم۪ينَ ١٠٩
Mushaf
Transliteration
109Efemen essese bünyânehû ʿalâ taḳvâ mine-llâhi veriḍvânin ḫayrun em men essese bünyânehû ʿalâ şefâ cürufin hârin fenhâra bihî fî nâri cehennem. vellâhü lâ yehdi-lḳavme-żżâlimîn.
English Translation
109Who is better: the one who lays the foundations of his building on reverence for Allah and the seeking of His good pleasure, or the one who builds on the edge of a cliff on the verge of collapse, and tumbles with it into the fire of Hell? Allah does not let such wrongdoers, who work against the believers, attain their aims.
