قَاتِلُوا الَّذ۪ينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّٰهِ وَلَا بِالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَلَا يَد۪ينُونَ د۪ينَ الْحَقِّ مِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ اُو۫تُوا الْكِتَابَ حَتّٰى يُعْطُوا الْجِزْيَةَ عَنْ يَدٍ وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ۟ ٢٩
Mushaf
Transliteration
29Ḳâtilü-lleẕîne lâ yüʾminûne billâhi velâ bilyevmi-lʾâḫiri velâ yüḥarrimûne mâ ḥarrame-llâhü verasûlühû velâ yedînûne dîne-lḥaḳḳi mine-lleẕîne ûtü-lkitâbe ḥattâ yüʿṭü-lcizyete ʿay yediv vehüm ṣâgirûn.
English Translation
29Fight those among the people who were given the Book who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, who do not recognize the prohibitions of Allah and the prohibitions made known by His Messenger, and who do not adopt the religion of truth as their religion, until they acknowledge your supremacy, submit, and pay the security tax (jizya) with their own hands!
