اِسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ اَوْ لَا تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْۜ اِنْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْع۪ينَ مَرَّةً فَلَنْ يَغْفِرَ اللّٰهُ لَهُمْۜ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُولِه۪ۜ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِق۪ينَ۟ ٨٠
Mushaf
Transliteration
80İstagfir lehüm ev lâ testagfir lehüm. in testagfir lehüm sebʿîne merraten feley yagfira-llâhü lehüm. ẕâlike biennehüm keferû billâhi verasûlih. vellâhü lâ yehdi-lḳavme-lfâsiḳîn.
English Translation
80Whether you seek forgiveness (istighfar)/ask pardon for them or not makes no difference. Even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will still not forgive them. That is because they have been ungrateful to Allah and His Messenger. For Allah does not let a people of transgressors who have strayed from the path reach their goal.
