لَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللّٰهُ ف۪ي مَوَاطِنَ كَث۪يرَةٍۙ وَيَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍۙ اِذْ اَعْجَبَتْكُمْ كَثْرَتُكُمْ فَلَمْ تُغْنِ عَنْكُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْاَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ ثُمَّ وَلَّيْتُمْ مُدْبِر۪ينَۚ ٢٥
Mushaf
Transliteration
25Leḳad neṣarakümü-llâhü fî mevâṭine keŝîrativ veyevme ḥuneynin iẕ aʿcebetküm keŝratüküm felem tugni ʿanküm şeyʾev veḍâḳat ʿaleykümü-lʾarḍu bimâ raḥubet ŝümme velleytüm müdbirîn.
English Translation
25Indeed, Allah helped you in many battles, and especially on the day of Hunayn. Recall that you had relied on your great numbers, but your numbers availed you nothing; indeed, that day the earth, for all its vastness, felt too narrow for you, and you began to turn your backs and flee.
