وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًاۙ ١ فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفًاۙ ٢ وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْرًاۙ ٣ فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقًاۙ ٤ فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْرًاۙ ٥ عُذْرًا اَوْ نُذْرًاۙ ٦ اِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِعٌۜ ٧ فَاِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْۙ ٨ وَاِذَا السَّمَٓاءُ فُرِجَتْۙ ٩ وَاِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْۙ ١٠ وَاِذَا الرُّسُلُ اُقِّتَتْۜ ١١ لِاَيِّ يَوْمٍ اُجِّلَتْۜ ١٢ لِيَوْمِ الْفَصْلِۚ ١٣ وَمَٓا اَدْرٰيكَ مَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِۜ ١٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
1Velmürselâti ʿurfâ.
2Felʿâṣifâti ʿaṣfâ.
3Vennâşirâti neşrâ.
4Felfâriḳâti ferḳâ.
5Felmülḳiyâti ẕikrâ.
6Uẕran ev nüẕrâ.
7İnnemâ tûʿadûne levâḳi.
8Feiẕe-nnücûmü ṭumiset.
9Veiẕe-ssemâü füricet.
10Veiẕe-lcibâlü nüsifet.
11Veiẕe-rrusülü üḳḳitet.
12Lieyyi yevmin üccilet.
13Liyevmi-lfaṣl.
14Vemâ edrâke mâ yevmü-lfaṣl.
English Translation
1By the messengers sent one after another,
2by those who sweep all before them,
3by those who spread the divine message far and wide,
4by those who distinguish ever more clearly between truth and falsehood,
5and by those who then convey this divine message/the Quran to people,
6conveying either an excuse or a warning,
7what you are promised will surely come to pass.
8When the light of the stars is extinguished,
9when the sky is split open,
10when the mountains are ground to dust,
11when all the messengers are gathered together to bear witness—
12on which day will all this take place?
13On the day of judgment and verdict/separation.
14And do you know what that day of verdict is?

English Translation
15Woe on that day to those who cling to lies in the face of these warnings!
16Did We not destroy the earlier ones?
17We will add those who come later, like you, to this caravan too.
18This is how We always deal with the guilty!

20Elem naḫlukküm mim mâim mehîn.
21Feceʿalnâhü fî ḳarârim mekîn.
22İlâ ḳaderim maʿlûm.
23Feḳadernâ. feniʿme-lḳâdirûn.
24Veylüy yevmeiẕil lilmükeẕẕibîn.
English Translation
20Did We not create you from a simple fluid,
21and did We not place it in a secure place
22until an appointed destiny/term?
23We arranged and determined all of this. How magnificent is Our determining and arranging!
24Woe on that day to those who cling to lies in the face of this truth!

English Translation
25Did We not make the earth a dwelling/a gathering place
26for both the living and the dead?
27Did We not set lofty mountains in it, and give you fresh water to drink from there?
28Woe on that day to those who cling to lies in the face of these blessings!

29Now go on, walk toward this punishment which you called a lie and did not believe in!

لَا ظَل۪يلٍ وَلَا يُغْن۪ي مِنَ اللَّهَبِۜ ٣١ اِنَّهَا تَرْم۪ي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِۚ ٣٢ كَاَنَّهُ جِمَالَتٌ صُفْرٌۜ ٣٣ وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّب۪ينَ ٣٤

Transliteration
31Lâ żalîliv velâ yugnî mine-lleheb.
32İnnehâ termî bişerarin kelḳaṣr.
33Keennehû cimâlâtün ṣufr.
34Veylüy yevmeiẕil lilmükeẕẕibîn.
English Translation
31It is no shade; it cannot protect you from the flames.
32Rather, it scatters sparks like a palm trunk.
33Each one is like a leaping yellow camel.
34Woe on that day to those who cling to lies in the face of this threat!

35That is the day on which those who cling to lies will not be able to speak.
36They will not even be permitted to state an excuse.

38Hâẕâ yevmü-lfaṣl. cemaʿnâküm velʾevvelîn.
39Fein kâne leküm keydün fekîdûn.
40Veylüy yevmeiẕil lilmükeẕẕibîn.
English Translation
38This is the day of judgment and verdict. See, We have gathered you and those before you together.
39So if you have a plan to escape the punishment, put it into effect right now, and let us see!

44İnnâ keẕâlike neczi-lmuḥsinîn.
45Veylüy yevmeiẕil lilmükeẕẕibîn.
English Translation
41As for those who guard themselves against defying Allah, they will be amid shade and springs.
42They will find ready every fruit they desire.
43Eat and drink with enjoyment, in return for what you did in the world.
44This is how We reward those who do good.
