English Translation
Have We not made the earth a dwelling place for you?
And driven in the mountains like pegs?
And created you in pairs?
And made sleep a means of rest for you?
And made the night a covering over you?
And made the day a time for earning a living?
And built above you seven firmly constructed heavens, one above another?
And hung the sun there as a lamp shedding light?
And sent down pouring water from the rain-laden clouds?
And grown grain and plants with this rain?
And brought into being lush gardens of intertwining plants?

Have no doubt that the time of the Day of Separation has been set too.
On that day the Trumpet (Sur) will be blown, and you will come before Allah in throngs.
On that day the sky will be split open, and gateways will form in it.
The mountains will be set in motion and become a mirage.
Then Hell will begin to lie in wait.
It will be the final destination of the insolent.
There they will remain for ages upon ages.
There they will find neither coolness nor anything to drink.
The only thing they will taste is boiling water and pus.
A punishment that fits them exactly!
For they took no account of the trial in Allah's presence.
They attacked Our verses with all their might.
But We were recording everything, one by one.
Now taste this punishment! All We will do is increase your punishment.

the Most Merciful (ar-Rahman), the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that lies between them. In His presence no one will dare to speak.
Yes, on that day the Spirit and the other angels will stand in rows before Him; only those to whom the Most Merciful gives leave may speak, on condition that they speak the truth.
This is a day whose coming is inevitable. So let whoever wishes take the path that leads to his Lord.
