English Translation
Someone asked for the punishment that is to befall to come at once.
Yes, that punishment will befall the disbelievers who cover up the truths, and no one will be able to prevent it.
For that punishment will come from Allah, Owner of the many heights of exaltation.
The angels and the spirit ascend to His heavens/heights in a day whose length by your reckoning is fifty thousand years.

English Translation
So bear it with beautiful patience.
For they see the day of reckoning as a very remote possibility.
But We know that it will come very soon.
On that day the sky will be like molten metal,
and the mountains will fly about like carded wool.
Then no close relative will have the strength to ask after another.
True, on that day relatives will be allowed to see one another, but no one will be of any use to anyone. On that day the guilty one will wish to give even his own children as ransom to escape the punishment,
his wife and his brother,
all his kin who once protected him,
indeed everyone on the earth, if only he himself could be saved.
But by no means! What awaits them is a fire that throws out flames,
one that scorches and strips away the skin.
It is a fire that calls to itself the one who turned his back on Allah's call and turned away from the Quran,
and who amassed wealth and sat upon it!

English Translation
Except for those who turn to Allah with their whole being.
They are attentive and constant in their prayers/their turning to Allah.
In their wealth certain people have a right:
the needy, those who are able to ask and those who are not.
For they affirm the day of reckoning from the heart.
They are wary of their Lord's punishment and feel a deep shudder of awe.
For they know that no one can feel safe from their Lord's punishment.
They guard their chastity and honor,
except with their spouses, that is, those they lawfully possess; and for this they are not to be blamed.
But those who go beyond this limit, they are the ones who overstep the limits.
