وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِۜ وَلَوْلَٓا اَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى لَجَٓاءَهُمُ الْعَذَابُۜ وَلَيَاْتِيَنَّهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ٥٣
Mushaf
Transliteration
53Veyestaʿcilûneke bilʿaẕâb. velevlâ ecelüm müsemmel lecâehüm-lʿaẕâb. veleyeʾtiyennehüm bagtetev vehüm lâ yeşʿurûn.
English Translation
53They ask you to hasten the punishment. Had it not been for an appointed term, the punishment would certainly have come to them at once. But the punishment will come upon them suddenly, at a moment when they are unaware.
