بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 16–17
2 versesAl-'Ankabut 17
اِنَّمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ اَوْثَانًا وَتَخْلُقُونَ اِفْكًاۜ اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لَكُمْ رِزْقًا فَابْتَغُوا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ الرِّزْقَ وَاعْبُدُوهُ وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُۜ اِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ١٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
17İnnemâ taʿbüdûne min dûni-llâhi evŝânev vetaḫluḳûne ifkâ. inne-lleẕîne taʿbüdûne min dûni-llâhi lâ yemlikûne leküm rizḳan febtegû ʿinde-llâhi-rrizḳa vaʿbüdûhü veşkürû leh. ileyhi türceʿûn.
English Translation
17—You serve only those you place between yourselves and Allah and make into idols, and you ascribe baseless qualities to them. But know well that those you place between yourselves and Allah and serve cannot give you any provision/even a morsel. So seek all your provision with Allah, serve Him alone, and be grateful for the blessings He gives, for in the end you will be returned to Him.
