بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 97–98
2 versesAl-Isra 97
وَمَنْ يَهْدِ اللّٰهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِۚ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُمْ اَوْلِيَٓاءَ مِنْ دُونِه۪ۜ وَنَحْشُرُهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ عَلٰى وُجُوهِهِمْ عُمْيًا وَبُكْمًا وَصُمًّاۜ مَاْوٰيهُمْ جَهَنَّمُۜ كُلَّمَا خَبَتْ زِدْنَاهُمْ سَع۪يرًا ٩٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
97Vemey yehdi-llâhü fehüve-lmühted. vemey yuḍlil felen tecide lehüm evliyâe min dûnih. venaḥşüruhüm yevme-lḳiyâmeti ʿalâ vucûhihim ʿumyev vebükmev veṣummâ. meʾvâhüm cehennem. küllemâ ḫabet zidnâhüm seʿîrâ.
English Translation
97Whoever follows the Quran, Allah's guide, has found the right path. And whoever chooses misguidance—you will find for them no protectors/friends to defend them against Allah. And on the Day of Resurrection We will bring them to the place of Gathering blind, mute, and deaf, crawling on their faces. Their abode is Hell; whenever its fire begins to die down, We will stoke up its blazing flames.
