بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 92
1 verseAn-Nahl 92
وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّت۪ي نَقَضَتْ غَزْلَهَا مِنْ بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ اَنْكَاثًاۜ تَتَّخِذُونَ اَيْمَانَكُمْ دَخَلًا بَيْنَكُمْ اَنْ تَكُونَ اُمَّةٌ هِيَ اَرْبٰى مِنْ اُمَّةٍۜ اِنَّمَا يَبْلُوكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِه۪ۜ وَلَيُبَيِّنَنَّ لَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ مَا كُنْتُمْ ف۪يهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ ٩٢
Mushaf
Transliteration
92Velâ tekûnû kelletî neḳaḍat gazlehâ mim baʿdi ḳuvvetin enkâŝâ. tetteḫiẕûne eymâneküm deḫalem beyneküm en tekûne ümmetün hiye erbâ min ümmeh. innemâ yeblûkümü-llâhü bih. veleyübeyyinenne leküm yevme-lḳiyâmeti mâ küntüm fîhi taḫtelifûn.
English Translation
92Do not, like the woman who unravels her yarn after spinning it firmly, turn your oaths into a means of deceiving one another for the sake of gain, because one community is stronger and more influential than another. For Allah is testing you through your oaths. On the Day of Resurrection Allah will certainly make clear the matters on which you disagreed.
