بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 109

وَمَٓا اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ اِلَّا رِجَالًا نُوح۪ٓي اِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ اَهْلِ الْقُرٰىۜ اَفَلَمْ يَس۪يرُوا فِي الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذ۪ينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْۜ وَلَدَارُ الْاٰخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِلَّذ۪ينَ اتَّقَوْاۜ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ ١٠٩
Mushaf
Transliteration
109Vemâ erselnâ min ḳablike illâ ricâlen nûḥî ileyhim min ehli-lḳurâ. efelem yesîrû fi-lʾarḍi feyenżurû keyfe kâne ʿâḳibetü-lleẕîne min ḳablihim. veledâru-lʾâḫirati ḫayrul lilleẕîne-tteḳav. efelâ taʿḳilûn.
English Translation
109The messengers We sent before you were none other than men We chose from among the people of those lands and to whom We gave revelation.(1) Do these people not travel through the land and see the terrible end of the communities that came and went before them, and take a lesson?(2) The abode of the Hereafter is better for those who guard themselves; will they still not come to their senses?(3)
