فَبَدَاَ بِاَوْعِيَتِهِمْ قَبْلَ وِعَٓاءِ اَخ۪يهِ ثُمَّ اسْتَخْرَجَهَا مِنْ وِعَٓاءِ اَخ۪يهِۜ كَذٰلِكَ كِدْنَا لِيُوسُفَۜ مَا كَانَ لِيَاْخُذَ اَخَاهُ ف۪ي د۪ينِ الْمَلِكِ اِلَّٓا اَنْ يَشَٓاءَ اللّٰهُۜ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَاتٍ مَنْ نَشَٓاءُۜ وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذ۪ي عِلْمٍ عَل۪يمٌ ٧٦
Mushaf
Transliteration
76Febedee bievʿiyetihim ḳable viʿâi eḫîhi ŝümme-staḫracehâ miv viʿâi eḫîh. keẕâlike kidnâ liyûsüf. mâ kâne liyeʾḫuẕe eḫâhü fî dîni-lmeliki illâ ey yeşâe-llâh. nerfeʿu deracâtim men neşâʾ. vefevḳa külli ẕî ʿilmin ʿalîm.
English Translation
76Joseph searched the other brothers' packs first, and then brought the drinking cup out of his full brother's pack. We taught Joseph this plan. Had Allah not willed it so, he could not have detained his brother under the king's law. We raise in rank whomever We will(1). For above everyone who has knowledge there is always one who knows more(2).
