بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

وَاتَّبَعْتُ مِلَّةَ اٰبَٓاء۪ٓي اِبْرٰه۪يمَ وَاِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَۜ مَا كَانَ لَنَٓا اَنْ نُشْرِكَ بِاللّٰهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍۜ ذٰلِكَ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى النَّاسِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ ٣٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
38Vettebaʿtü millete âbâî ibrâhîme veisḥâḳa veyaʿḳûb. mâ kâne lenâ en nüşrike billâhi min şeyʾ. ẕâlike min faḍli-llâhi ʿaleynâ veʿale-nnâsi velâkinne ekŝera-nnâsi lâ yeşkürûn.
English Translation
38And I have followed the belief system of my forefathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It would never befit us to ascribe any attribute that belongs to Allah to anyone else. This belief in Allah's oneness (tawhid) is a grace from Allah to us and to all people. But most people are not grateful for this blessing.
