بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 41
1 verseAl-Anfal 41
وَاعْلَمُٓوا اَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَاَنَّ لِلّٰهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي الْقُرْبٰى وَالْيَتَامٰى وَالْمَسَاك۪ينِ وَابْنِ السَّب۪يلِۙ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ اٰمَنْتُمْ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَٓا اَنْزَلْنَا عَلٰى عَبْدِنَا يَوْمَ الْفُرْقَانِ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِۜ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَد۪يرٌ ٤١
Mushaf
Transliteration
41Vaʿlemû ennemâ ganimtüm min şeyʾin feenne lillâhi ḫumüsehû velirrasûli veliẕi-lḳurbâ velyetâmâ velmesâkîni vebni-ssebîli in küntüm âmentüm billâhi vemâ enzelnâ ʿalâ ʿabdinâ yevme-lfürḳâni yevme-lteḳe-lcemʿân. vellâhü ʿalâ külli şeyʾin ḳadîr.
English Translation
41If you believe in Allah and in what We sent down to Our servant, the revelation, the Quran, on the day the two armies met and truth was separated from falsehood, and in the victory, then know that one fifth of the spoils you gain in war belongs to Allah, to His Messenger who conveys Allah's messages, to his relatives, to orphans, to the poor, and to stranded travelers. For Allah sets a measure for all things.
