بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 64–66
3 versesAl-Anfal 66
اَلْـٰٔنَ خَفَّفَ اللّٰهُ عَنْكُمْ وَعَلِمَ اَنَّ ف۪يكُمْ ضَعْفًاۜ فَاِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ مِائَةٌ صَابِرَةٌ يَغْلِبُوا مِائَتَيْنِۚ وَاِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ اَلْفٌ يَغْلِبُٓوا اَلْفَيْنِ بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِۜ وَاللّٰهُ مَعَ الصَّابِر۪ينَ ٦٦
Mushaf
Transliteration
66Elʾâne ḫaffefe-llâhü ʿanküm veʿalime enne fîküm ḍaʿfâ. feiy yeküm minküm mietün ṣâbiratüy yaglibû mieteyn. veiy yeküm minküm elfüy yaglibû elfeyni biiẕni-llâh. vellâhü meʿa-ṣṣâbirîn.
English Translation
66Allah has lightened your burden, in view of your present situation and because He knows the weakness in you. Even so, a hundred steadfast and courageous ones among you can overcome two hundred. And if there are a thousand of you, they can, by Allah's leave, defeat two thousand in this case too. For Allah is with those who stand firm in their cause.
