وَقَالَتِ امْرَاَتُ فِرْعَوْنَ قُرَّتُ عَيْنٍ ل۪ي وَلَكَۜ لَا تَقْتُلُوهُۗ عَسٰٓى اَنْ يَنْفَعَنَٓا اَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ٩
Mushaf
Transliteration
9Veḳâleti-mraetü firʿavne ḳurratü ʿaynil lî velek. lâ taḳtülûh. ʿasâ ey yenfeʿanâ ev netteḫiẕehû veledev vehüm lâ yeşʿurûn.
English Translation
9Pharaoh's wife said: —This child is a source of joy for both me and you. Please do not kill him; perhaps he will be of use to us, or we may adopt him as our son. But they did not realize where this would lead.
