بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

قَالَ اِنّ۪ٓي اُر۪يدُ اَنْ اُنْكِحَكَ اِحْدَى ابْنَتَيَّ هَاتَيْنِ عَلٰٓى اَنْ تَاْجُرَن۪ي ثَمَانِيَ حِجَجٍۚ فَاِنْ اَتْمَمْتَ عَشْرًا فَمِنْ عِنْدِكَۚ وَمَٓا اُر۪يدُ اَنْ اَشُقَّ عَلَيْكَۜ سَتَجِدُن۪ٓي اِنْ شَٓاءَ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الصَّالِح۪ينَ ٢٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
27Ḳâle innî ürîdü en ünkiḥake iḥde-bneteyye hâteyni ʿalâ en teʾcüranî ŝemâniye ḥicec. fein etmemte ʿaşran femin ʿindik. vemâ ürîdü en eşüḳḳa ʿaleyk. setecidünî in şâe-llâhü mine-ṣṣâliḥîn.
English Translation
27The girls' father said: —I wish to marry you to one of these daughters of mine in return for your working for me for eight years; if you make it ten, that will be a kindness from you to us. I do not wish to impose hardship on you. If Allah wills, you will find me one of the righteous, a good man who keeps his word.
