بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

يَٓا اَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلٌ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُۜ اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ لَنْ يَخْلُقُوا ذُبَابًا وَلَوِ اجْتَمَعُوا لَهُۜ وَاِنْ يَسْلُبْهُمُ الذُّبَابُ شَيْـًٔا لَا يَسْتَنْقِذُوهُ مِنْهُۜ ضَعُفَ الطَّالِبُ وَالْمَطْلُوبُ ٧٣
Mushaf
Transliteration
73Yâ eyyühe-nnâsü ḍuribe meŝelün festemiʿû leh. inne-lleẕîne tedʿûne min dûni-llâhi ley yaḫlüḳû ẕübâbev velevi-ctemeʿû leh. veiy yeslübhümü-ẕẕübâbü şeyʾel lâ yestenḳiẕûhü minh. ḍaʿufe-ṭṭâlibü velmaṭlûb.
English Translation
73—O people, an example is being given; now listen well! Those you implore in prayer besides Allah could not create even a fly, even if they all came together for it. And if a fly were to snatch something away from them, they could not rescue it from it. Weak is the seeker, and weak the sought.
