بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerse 40
1 verseFatir 40
قُلْ اَرَاَيْتُمْ شُرَكَٓاءَكُمُ الَّذ۪ينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِۜ اَرُون۪ي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الْاَرْضِ اَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمٰوَاتِۚ اَمْ اٰتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا فَهُمْ عَلٰى بَيِّنَتٍ مِنْهُۚ بَلْ اِنْ يَعِدُ الظَّالِمُونَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا اِلَّا غُرُورًا ٤٠
Mushaf
Transliteration
40Ḳul eraʾeytüm şürakâekümü-lleẕîne tedʿûne min dûni-llâh. erûnî mâẕâ ḫaleḳû mine-lʾarḍi em lehüm şirkün fi-ssemâvât. em âteynâhüm kitâben fehüm ʿalâ beyyinetim minh. bel iy yeʿidu-żżâlimûne baʿḍuhüm baʿḍan illâ gurûrâ.
English Translation
40Say: —Have you ever thought about those you place between yourselves and Allah and implore in prayer? Show me what they have created on the earth! Or do they have a share in the governance of the heavens? Or have We given them a book, so that they ascribe partners to Allah on the basis of evidence in it? No, in truth, those who ascribe partners promise one another nothing but deception.
