بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

وَاَقْسَمُوا بِاللّٰهِ جَهْدَ اَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِنْ جَٓاءَهُمْ نَذ۪يرٌ لَيَكُونُنَّ اَهْدٰى مِنْ اِحْدَى الْاُمَمِۚ فَلَمَّا جَٓاءَهُمْ نَذ۪يرٌ مَا زَادَهُمْ اِلَّا نُفُورًاۙ ٤٢
Mushaf
Transliteration
42Veaḳsemû billâhi cehde eymânihim lein câehüm neẕîrul leyekûnünne ehdâ min iḥde-lʾümem. felemmâ câehüm neẕîrum mâ zâdehüm illâ nüfûrâ.
English Translation
42Yet they used to swear by Allah with their most solemn oaths that, if a warner came to them, they would follow His guidance more closely than any other people. Now a warner has come to them, but this Quran has only increased their aversion.
