English Translation
Indeed, We have adorned the nearest sky with lamps, the stars. We have made the light that comes from the stars a means of driving away the devils. And We have also prepared for them the punishment of a fire that spews flames.
And for the disbelievers who are ungrateful to their Lord there is the punishment of Hell. What an evil final destination that is!
When they are cast into it, they will hear the dreadful seething sound Hell makes as it boils.
So much so that Hell will all but burst apart with rage. Every time a group is cast into it, its keepers will ask them: —Did no warner come to you?
They will say: —Yes, a warner did come to us, but we accused him of lying and said: "Allah has sent down nothing; you are only in great error."
—Had we listened to the revelation, or used our reason, we would not be among those who have fallen into this blazing Fire today, they will say.
Thus they will confess their sins. Damnation to the people of the raging Fire!
