بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 28–35
8 versesGhafir 34
وَلَقَدْ جَٓاءَكُمْ يُوسُفُ مِنْ قَبْلُ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا زِلْتُمْ ف۪ي شَكٍّ مِمَّا جَٓاءَكُمْ بِه۪ۜ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَنْ يَبْعَثَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ بَعْدِه۪ رَسُولًاۜ كَذٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللّٰهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ مُرْتَابٌۚ ٣٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
34Veleḳad câeküm yûsüfü min ḳablü bilbeyyinâti femâ ziltüm fî şekkim mimmâ câeküm bih. ḥattâ iẕâ heleke ḳultüm ley yebʿaŝe-llâhü mim baʿdihî rasûlâ. keẕâlike yüḍillü-llâhü men hüve müsrifüm mürtâb.
English Translation
34Before this, Joseph too came to you with clear evidence. But you remained in constant doubt about the proofs he brought. At last, when he died, you said: "Allah will never send a messenger after him." Thus Allah leaves in their misguidance those who go to excess and are always in doubt.
