بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

2 versesGhafir 21
اَوَلَمْ يَس۪يرُوا فِي الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذ۪ينَ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْۜ كَانُوا هُمْ اَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَاٰثَارًا فِي الْاَرْضِ فَاَخَذَهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُمْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَاقٍ ٢١
Mushaf
Transliteration
21Evelem yesîrû fi-lʾarḍi feyenżurû keyfe kâne ʿâḳibetü-lleẕîne kânû min ḳablihim. kânû hüm eşedde minhüm ḳuvvetev veâŝâran fi-lʾarḍi feeḫaẕehümü-llâhü biẕünûbihim vemâ kâne lehüm mine-llâhi miv vâḳ.
English Translation
21Do they not travel through the land and look at what became of the peoples before them, and take a lesson? They were far stronger than these and left more traces in their lands. But Allah seized them firmly and punished them for the sins they committed, and there was no one to protect them from Allah's punishment.
