7 versesGhafir 74
مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِۜ قَالُوا ضَلُّوا عَنَّا بَلْ لَمْ نَكُنْ نَدْعُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ شَيْـًٔاۜ كَذٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللّٰهُ الْكَافِر۪ينَ ٧٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
74Min dûni-llâh. ḳâlû ḍallû ʿannâ bel lem nekün nedʿû min ḳablü şeyʾâ. keẕâlike yüḍillü-llâhü-lkâfirîn.
English Translation
74(73-74) Then they will be told: —Where now are those you placed between yourselves and Allah and implored in prayer, associating them with Him as partners? They will say: —They have abandoned us and gone; so those we implored in the world were nothing at all. Thus Allah leaves the disbelievers who cover up the truths bewildered and helpless, they say.
