وَقَالَ الَّذ۪ينَ فِي النَّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ادْعُوا رَبَّكُمْ يُخَفِّفْ عَنَّا يَوْمًا مِنَ الْعَذَابِ ٤٩
Mushaf
Transliteration
49Veḳâle-lleẕîne fi-nnâri liḫazeneti cehenneme-dʿû rabbeküm yüḫaffif ʿannâ yevmem mine-lʿaẕâb.
English Translation
49Those burning in the Fire will plead with the keepers of Hell: —Please, pray to your Lord and implore Him to lighten this punishment we suffer, even for a short while.
