بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 32–34
3 versesAl-Ahzab 33
وَقَرْنَ ف۪ي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْاُو۫لٰى وَاَقِمْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰت۪ينَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَاَطِعْنَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُولَهُۜ اِنَّمَا يُر۪يدُ اللّٰهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ اَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْه۪يرًاۚ ٣٣
Mushaf
Transliteration
33Veḳarne fî büyûtikünne velâ teberracne teberruce-lcâhiliyyeti-lʾûlâ veeḳimne-ṣṣalâte veâtîne-zzekâte veeṭiʿne-llâhe verasûleh. innemâ yürîdü-llâhü liyüẕhibe ʿankümü-rricse ehle-lbeyti veyüṭahhiraküm taṭhîrâ.
English Translation
33Maintain your dignity, and do not go about immodestly displaying yourselves as in the former age of ignorance. Perform the prayer, give zakat, and obey Allah and His Messenger, who conveys Allah's messages. O household of the Prophet! Through these commands Allah only wishes to cleanse you of every kind of impurity and so make you thoroughly pure.
