بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ ذُكِّرَ بِاٰيَاتِ رَبِّه۪ فَاَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا وَنَسِيَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُۜ اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا عَلٰى قُلُوبِهِمْ اَكِنَّةً اَنْ يَفْقَهُوهُ وَف۪ٓي اٰذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًاۜ وَاِنْ تَدْعُهُمْ اِلَى الْهُدٰى فَلَنْ يَهْتَدُٓوا اِذًا اَبَدًا ٥٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
57Vemen ażlemü mimmen ẕükkira biâyâti rabbihî feaʿraḍa ʿanhâ venesiye mâ ḳaddemet yedâh. innâ ceʿalnâ ʿalâ ḳulûbihim ekinneten ey yefḳahûhü vefî âẕânihim vaḳrâ. vein tedʿuhüm ile-lhüdâ feley yehtedû iẕen ebedâ.
English Translation
57Who could be a greater wrongdoer than one who, when reminded of his Lord's verses, turns away from them and forgets what he has done before? Over their hearts they have drawn veils that keep them from understanding the Quran, and they would not hear with their ears. So even if you call them to the right path, they will never come to it.
