بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 16–18
3 versesAl-Kahf 17
وَتَرَى الشَّمْسَ اِذَا طَلَعَتْ تَزَاوَرُ عَنْ كَهْفِهِمْ ذَاتَ الْيَم۪ينِ وَاِذَا غَرَبَتْ تَقْرِضُهُمْ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ وَهُمْ ف۪ي فَجْوَةٍ مِنْهُۜ ذٰلِكَ مِنْ اٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِۜ مَنْ يَهْدِ اللّٰهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِۚ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُ وَلِيًّا مُرْشِدًا۟ ١٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
17Vetera-şşemse iẕâ ṭaleʿat tezâveru ʿan kehfihim ẕâte-lyemîni veiẕâ garabet taḳriḍuhüm ẕâte-şşimâli vehüm fî fecvetim minh. ẕâlike min âyâti-llâh. mey yehdi-llâhü fehüve-lmühted. vemey yuḍlil felen tecide lehû veliyyem mürşidâ.
English Translation
17You would have seen the sun, as it rose and climbed, strike the right side of the cave and pass on, and as it set, strike the left side and pass on, so that no sunlight entered inside. They lay in the wide part at the back of the cave. This is one of Allah's signs. Whoever is on the path Allah shows is on the right path. And whoever goes astray, you will find no protector/friend or guide for him.
