بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

هَلْ اَتٰيكَ حَد۪يثُ الْغَاشِيَةِۜ ١ وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌۙ ٢ عَامِلَةٌ نَاصِبَةٌۙ ٣ تَصْلٰى نَارًا حَامِيَةًۙ ٤ تُسْقٰى مِنْ عَيْنٍ اٰنِيَةٍۜ ٥ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ اِلَّا مِنْ ضَر۪يعٍۙ ٦ لَا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْن۪ي مِنْ جُوعٍۜ ٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
1Hel etâke ḥadîŝü-lgâşiyeh.
2Vucûhüy yevmeiẕin ḫâşiʿah.
3Âmiletün nâṣibeh.
4Taṣlâ nâran ḥâmiyeh.
5Tüsḳâ min ʿaynin âniyeh.
6Leyse lehüm ṭaʿâmün illâ min ḍarî.
7Lâ yüsminü velâ yugnî min cû.
English Translation
1Has the news reached you of the event whose terror will overwhelm everything?
2On that day some faces will be utterly abased and wretched,
3completely worn out and exhausted.
4They will end up in the scorching Fire.
5When thirsty, they will be given boiling water to drink.
6(6-7) And when hungry, they will find no food but a poisonous thorn that neither nourishes nor satisfies hunger.

Transliteration
8Vucûhüy yevmeiẕin nâʿimeh.
9Lisaʿyihâ râḍiyeh.
10Fî cennetin ʿâliyeh.
11Lâ tesmeʿu fîhâ lâgiyeh.
12Fîhâ ʿaynün câriyeh.
13Fîhâ sürurum merfûʿah.
14Veekvâbüm mevḍûʿah.
15Venemâriḳu maṣfûfeh.
16Vezerâbiyyü mebŝûŝeh.
English Translation
8On that day other faces will shine with happiness,
9rejoicing at having found the reward for their efforts,
10hosted in the lofty station of the gardens.
11There they will hear no evil word.
12There will be ever-flowing springs there,
13magnificent thrones set on high,
14brimming cups ready to drink from,
15cushions set in rows,
16and carpets spread out.

English Translation
17Do they not look, then, with an eye to taking a lesson at the camel/the cloud—how it has been created?
18And at the vault of the sky—how it has been raised?
19And at the firm mountains—how they have been set up?
20And at the earth—how it has been spread out?

21Feẕekkir innemâ ente müẕekkir.
22Leste ʿaleyhim bimüṣayṭir.
23İllâ men tevellâ vekefera.
24Feyüʿaẕẕibühü-llâhü-lʿaẕâbe-lʾekber.
25İnne ileynâ iyâbehüm.
26Ŝümme inne ʿaleynâ ḥisâbehüm.
English Translation
21So keep on giving admonition and warning! For you are charged only with warning.
22You are in no position to force them into faith.
23But whoever turns away from the revelation and disbelieves,
24Allah will strike him with the greatest punishment.
25In any case, their return will be to Us.
26And then it will be for Us to call them to account.
